Hello my name is Wiggen!   I was given up by my owners because I wasn't very affectionate. I was sad because I lived there for my whole life. I didn't realize how stressed out I was, but now I am starting to relax in my foster home. My foster mom has put me on medicine to help me relax while I learn to be snuggly. It i s working. I actually LOVE to get massaged and will even ask to be petted now. Man I missed out on being petted for 6 years? What a dope! I don't play much yet either so I don't require a playmate but it is fine if there is another friend for me. I like other dogs just don't know what to do with them, so I can take them or leave them. I walk well on a leash and like to go for rides. I am house trained. I may not be the perfect boy, but I am working hard to get there. I would not do well around kids, they stress me out. I love to lay in the yard and sunbathe, so a fenced yard is a must for me. If I sound like a boy that you would like to get to know, and you are patient, maybe adopt me?

We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
