UNFORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCES  Pets can't escape the turmoil around them, even when their owners are loving and responsible. That's what happened to Reggie Roo. His family had some significant challenges and decided it would be best for Reggie to have a new home. This 5-year-old Labradoodle is a sweet and gentle guy who gets along with just about everyone, including children, cats and his fellow canines. Despite his nearly 70 pounds, Reggie is a little intimidated by large dogs, possibly because he's spent most of his time around smaller pups. He is house- leash- and crate trained, does well in the car and loves the beach. Reggie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He's responding well to treatment for a bad ear infection, and has lost some of his hearing because of it, but otherwise is in excellent health. Available through Tired Dog Rescue, Gulfport, MS. Fee: $200. Apply at tireddogrescue.org.

We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
