Hello, my name is Daisy. I’m an eight-month-old, small breed mix, weighing around 12 pounds of pure sweetness. My foster home is filled with children, dogs both large and small, and cats. I love playing with my small dog sister and I'm curious about the cats, though not aggressive. I adore the kids but give them space when they’re loud, though I enjoy snuggling on the couch when things are calm.

Being a puppy, I’m still learning house rules and working on potty training. I love toys and sometimes create my own chew toys, so I need to be watched, but I’m easily redirected.

I’m fond of my kennel and even enjoy hanging out in it with the door open. My favorite place, though, is by your side—whether sitting under the table at your feet or snuggling next to you on the couch, that makes me the happiest pup in the world. Do you have a lap that needs warming? My foster mom thinks I’m the best girl and I love giving and receiving kisses. I may be a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly once I get to know you.

More about Daisy Lou

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

We at Tired Dog Rescue strive to find homes for dogs in need, build quality relationships with responsible owners, and preserve current dog-family homes by seeking solutions to financial, behavioral, and situational dog problems. We believe the lives of homeless, abandoned and abused dogs are just as precious as dogs that currently have a loving home. We believe that all dogs deserve a loving home despite their age, medical condition and/or disabilities. We provide whatever medical care is needed regardless of cost. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations before being placed.
